7 Steps to Your Fitness Pursuit

"Monday I will start" is usually the common phrase used by many who are looking to move towards a healthier lifestyle.  Yet, getting started seems to be the hardest part.  Many times we repeatedly tell ourselves, “Today is the day!" or “Tomorrow, Ill start tomorrow, I promise”.  

However, tomorrow comes and goes as if it were another ordinary day.  Special occasions, weddings and HS reunions, are all the reasons to get motivated.  Yet, nothing changes with our daily routine.  Getting started may not always be the challenge.  

The challenge may be as simple as not knowing where to start.

 So, now you sit wondering, “Where do I begin? What kind of supplements do I use? What should I be eating?" You may even say to yourself, "I wish TrueCore could make this easy for me."

 Okay, fine. We know that probably didn't cross your mind but it's worth the smile.  

Here, at TrueCore, we believe in making your life as simple as possible.  We want to join you on your quest to a healthier lifestyle and want to be your biggest supporter.  Let's get you started with a 7 step process. It has worked for our employees so we know it will work for you.

  1. Write down your goal, i.e., Get Toned, Build Muscle, Lose Weight, etc.
  2. Set your daily plan for exercise, i.e., 5am @ Gym, 12pm @ Home-Video, 5pm @ Football Field, etc. 
  3. Take a before picture to motivate yourself - You will love this later - TRUST US
  4. Share your goal, i.e., Friends, Family, Instagram, FB, Twitter, etc.
  5. Don't diet!  Diets are not a lifestyle.  They are short term fixes.
  6. Take it one day at a time.  Don't worry if you have a set-back or miss a day just get back into it right away. 
  7. Ready, Go!, Time to make it happen!

    You have to remain dtacideed to your weight loss efforts and maintain healthy eating habits to really experience and visible results. Even if your goal is to lose 5 pounds every month, this is a better plan than you had yesterday. Most people don’t plan and then there are the others who plan but never act on their plans. Do not let yourself fall into any of these categories.
